Defending Jordan Peterson, do his personal issues make him invalid or a vital messenger?

When we admonish a person, we usually do so in an effort to also diminish the value of their message, this is usually because their message being accepted by us would require us to do work or thinking that might change us, the ego sees change as death, so we avoid even growth by insulting them. But who would you rather learn about something from, the person who has always had a perfectly working one or the person who knows what it means for that thing to break and to put it back together?

Eckhart Tolle and Alan Watts speak wonderfully of mindfulness but do not bring in personal responsibility or morals like Jordan B. Peterson does. While Peterson does speak of the value of morals, religion, and Carl Jung’s psychological shadow work, he shies away from Zen and the more metaphysical of heart-brain coherence that is common to Gregg Braden and Dr. Joe Dispenza or the overall spiritual growth and law of attraction Wayne Dyer emphasizes.
I bring all these elements into my work either overtly or subtly. They are all important and part of making a person whole, healthy, and happy. In my thinking I see very fuzzy lines, if any at all, between Philosophy, Psychology, and Spirituality. They are all part of who we are as individuals and part of a greater collective.
