One Of Our Deleted Albums Series

Tom Johnston was (and still is) one of the leading creative forces in the Doobie Brothers.

In 1976 Tom Johnston left the Doobie Brothers and launched a solo career during which he released two albums: Everything You've Heard Is True (1979) and Still Feels Good (1981).

Both are very good albums – they sound like Doobie Brothers albums – but, surprisingly, they had little commercial success and were deleted from the Warner Brothers catalogue by the late 1980's.

Everything You've Heard Is True was released on Warner Brothers Records in 1979 under catalogue number QBS 3304.

The audio here was taken from a 1979 Canadian pressing of the original vinyl LP.
