K9 Yukon, Scratchboard Drawing WIP - Vid 1

WIP (Work in Progress) of a 10" x 8" scratchboard drawing of K9 Yukon, a Dutch Shepherd. Yukon is retired, he served with the Placer County Sheriff's Department in California.

In this video, I'm scratching various different textures on the drawing. At about 1:12, you can see the type of blade I use, a #16 X-Acto, it has an edge that makes it easier to clear away large areas, such as the letters on Yukon's collar.
