How to Make Sauerkraut | Sauerkraut: The Best Source of Probiotics You Can Make at Home

In this video I show how to make sauerkraut. If you have autoimmunity and want to eat vegetables, fermented ones are the best option.
You will need:
3-4 cabbages
2 pounds of carrots (optional)
ginger (optional)
3 green apples (optional)
caraway (optional, recommended when you get bloated from cabbage)
salt( about 3 table spoons, but you can do more or less)

Containers to ferment your vegetables:
-glass jars
-wooden barrels
-ceramic crockpot
Avoid metal and plastic

Sauerkraut ferments best in room temperature between 68-75 degrees. It takes 7-10 days to achieve ideal fermentation.
