One Of Our Deleted Albums Series

It's A Beautiful Day was a San Francisco based “psychedelic rock” (perhaps the better term today would be “progressive” or “prog rock”) band which was active between 1967-1973. The band is probably best known for the track “White Bird” which appeared on its debut release “It's A Beautiful Day” in 1969.

Marrying Maiden was released in 1970 by Columbia Records (catalogue number CS 1058) as the second album by It's A Beautiful Day.

This album has since been deleted from the Columbia Records catalogue. It has been re-issued on CD but, as far as I'm aware, the CD re-issues have been deleted as well.

It's A Beautiful Day is not very well known today but deserves more attention.

The audio here is taken from an original early 1970's Canadian pressing of the original Columbia Records vinyl LP.
