TWO MINUTE TEACHER - CREEPY CREATURE CUT AND PASTE STORY

Objective: Cut and paste sentences to create a creepy creature tale.

Procedure: Student will read sentences about a "creepy creature." Then choose the ones they find most interesting to create a unique story. The 18 sentences will permit them to create two or three stories. Children will notice clue words like then and soon to guide them in sequencing events. Child then cuts and pastes the sentences to finish their story, enhancing fine motor skills.
Optional: Ask the child to illustrate their story with pictures.
