Goodness Gracious Great Vase of Fire!!!

My submission for the YoutTube Cross Channel Challenge 2021 (#YTCCC2021) for the month of January - FIRE!!!!!

I turned a piece of Spalted Elm into a vase, 10.5" tall, 5.25" wide. I then burned it with a blowtorch and airbrushed some color into it to make it look like it was still on fire.

On November 16, 2019, Zane Tyson was admitted to AdventHealth Hospital in Orlando after experiencing intense headaches for 2-3 weeks. CT and MRI scans revealed a posterior fossa tumor (brain tumor) that was blocking drainage of his spinal fluid, causing the intense pressure he had been feeling in his head. On Tuesday, November 19th, surgeons successfully removed the tumor, however, subsequent scans and biopsies revealed the tumor to be cancerous (medulloblastoma) and show that it has already spread to his cervical fluid and spinal column and that a few deposits were still present in his brain. While medulloblastoma is the most common malignant brain tumor in children, it is somewhat rare in adults like Zane (age 20). Zane was lucky enough to be accepted as a patient to the world-renowned St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and arrived in Memphis, Tennessee on December 8th. Treatment started right away and is chronicled in the posts in this group. Zane suffered an unexpected cardiac arrest event on May 12, 2020 and was rushed immediately to Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, and suffered three more cardiac arrests in the days that followed.
