- A young mom journalist wrote to me asking why I started an apparel line called Save Our Children Initiative, and I explained that a young girl at my littles school was being groomed by a gym teacher and upon researching signs of grooming.... it all connected to online predators and human/child trafficking!! Terrifying!! So I dug deep reading all statistics, and stories I could find!! I was motivated and scared for my littles, niece, and nephews!! I wanted to start awareness and challenge people to do their own research and to start a dialogue with friends, family and most importantly their children!! That is what I talked to the new young mother and “journalist” about!! After a couple of days Of contact with her she said they wanted to do a piece on me and my initiative and charitable foundation!! I was very excited to have a bigger audience!! Before filming I saw a post on IG from @vicetv that said “when to step into your conspiracy theorist friends life” and it followed with “when they start talking about child trafking”
-I immediately screenshot and sent to this “journalist” and said if this is why you are talking to me then we are done!! She assured me that there are “100s of Vice journalists” and that isn’t why she wanted to talk to me.... low and behold that is EXACTLY WHY!!
