Nazeem Stemmet started a car wash on the corner of Rose and Castle street in the Bo Kaap

South Africa - Cape Town - 28 January 2021 - Street people are given a second chance on life at Reds Car Wash in the Bo Kaap. Nazeem Stemmet started a car wash on the corner of Rose and Castle street in the Bo Kaap which is run by people who previously lived on the street. Nazeer said he wants to restore the dignity and self pride of the people by providing them with a job and an income. At the moment 6 people are working for him and he provides them with accommodation. The aim of the business is to get get kids of the streets and to stop them from begging for money but rather work for their own money. Picture Henk Kruger/African News Agency(ANA)
