Welcome to this 45 minute guided meditation for healing.

In this video we will practice how to meditate for healing. Whether your focus is healing a physical ailment, healing something in your heart, healing a relationship or simply healing in general this is the guided meditation for you.

To get the most out of this healing meditation, we recommend that you find a quiet and peaceful place to yourself where you can sit or lie down uninterrupted for the next 45 minutes. Place a sign on the door if necessary to let others know that you will be on a journey for inner healing to avoid any unexpected disruptions.

Also we suggest that you use headphones for the best listening experience.

During this experience, Heather Hayward will guide you through some simple meditation techniques for self-healing.

If you are lying down, placing a blanket across your stomach area can provide some added comfort.

We hope that you achieve the inner healing that you are looking for in this healing meditation youtube video & we look forward to creating more experiences for you soon!

Meditation and healing can go hand in hand! Read more about this below.

The human body was made to heal. We witness this every time we heal from a new cut or bruise.

Guided meditation for healing is an amazing way to release stress that can compile in the mind and release tension that is built up in the body.

Our fight-or-flight stress response comes naturally when we feel we are under a great amount of pressure. When this happens our sympathetic nervous system is engaged and the effect of this engagement consists of numerous uncomfortable physiological changes such as tense muscles, headaches, discomfort in the stomach, increased heart rate, and shallow breathing.

Guided meditation is a helpful way to turn off our fight-or-flight response and experience deep relaxation while restoring homeostasis to our body.

Cardiologist Herbert Benson, MD, who is well known for his extensive research, over multiple decades, into the health effects of meditation says that “the relaxation response received from guided meditation can help decrease metabolism, lower blood pressure, and improve heart rate, breathing and brain waves.”

There has also been evidence showing that people who practice meditation regularly have significantly higher brain activity in mental processes such as attention span, memory, learning, and perception in stressful situations.

We hope that this guided meditation for healing gets you one step closer to the inner healing that you desire!

Wishing you always more comfort, humor & inspiration,

Heather Hayward
