MVI 3607 Arkansas gun activist Jan Morgan testifies for SB585

SB585 - CONCERNING THE INTENDED PURPOSE OF THE CONCEALED HANDGUN LICENSING PROGRAM was debated before the Arkansas Senate Judiciary. The Chair of the Committee, Jeremy Hutchinson, has been hostile towards HB1249, a campus carry bill, on the orders of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.
The bill would clear up issues regarding Act746, a bill that allows open carry while "on a journey". The bill failed in the Republican Majority Committee despite testimony from gun experts. Senator Standridge was not in the room while Senator Trent Garner and Senator Jeremy Hutchinson refused to vote.
