Eric Holder Urges Dems to Pack Courts , 3478

Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the coup.
Eric Holder, Obama’s even-faithful “wingman” today called on Democrats to pack the federal courts with their new-found power.
Holder made his comments at a virtual conference on judicial reform held today by the Brookings Institute.
Holder said- and I'm not kidding here:
“it is painfully clear Democrats and progressives are uncomfortable with the acquisition and use of power while Republicans and Conservatives never have been. Our courts badly need reforms .”
I would hate to have to call the former attorney general of the United States a liar, but this is about as opposite to the truth as one can possibly imagine.
“The Republicans have abused their power to give themselves an unfair advantage .”
Uhhh, Mr Holder, would you mind giving me one - just one - example of that?
Holder said that it would be totally appropriate to add new seats to the Supreme Court because circuit courts have expanded from 9 to 13 since 1869.
Ohhhhh, that makes perfect sense!
Duke University law professor Marin Levy supported a modest expansion during the virtual convention:
“So the norm against it is not as strong as we might think it is, at least in terms of a potentially modest expansion.”
And you can bet, ladies and gentlemen, that this is absolutely on rails. This will cruise through the house and the Senate in surprisingly short order.
