RV and Pickup Burn, Livingston Texas, 01/24/21...

RV and Pickup Burn, LIVINGSTON, January 24, 2021 - At approximately 2:30 pm on January 24, 2021, the driver of an RV that was pulling a small pickup caught fire as it was passing through Livingston on the US-59 bypass. The driver was north-bound as a fire broke out in the rear of the RV. The driver pulled to the right shoulder (near Catfish King). Livingston Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Police Department along with local Deputies and State Troopers. Traffic on the north-bound side of 59 was blocked as firemen extinguished the fire which also was burning the small pickup that it was pulling. Fortunately, nobody was injured during the incident. The pickup was recovered by Ken's Towing and the RV was recovered by All Star Towing.
