The followup to the successful Gal Gadot lead Wonder Woman is about to be released in theaters and streaming in HBO Max. Since this is the DCEU, the name of the new movie is the Wonder Woman 1984. Well, because it is a Wonder Woman movie and it takes place in the year 1984. How original?

The block on reviews has finally been lifted and various movie critics are saying what they like in Wonder Woman 1984. Brainmuffin reads a review by Angelica Jade Bastién on the Vulture website. What will Angelica think of the movie? She called Wonder Woman 1984 an empty spectacle. A movie high on the superhero tropes and not much more. Gal Gadot and Chris Pine are under utilized while the script is very poor. Do you agree with her review?
