Make Your Own Mask - Commedia dell'Arte

Today we're making a mask! It could be for Halloween, a party, decor, or simply for fun! This is also a brief history lesson in Commedia dell'Arte, an old Italian Renaissance theatre that birthed much of today's culture (and where I got the technique for the mask)

Things you'll need to make a mask:
Plaster Gauze
Water
Scissors
Thin elastic or string

Optional
Petroleum Jelly
Paint, feathers, beads, etc. (Whatever you'd like to decorate it!)
Glue (for the decorations)
Sandpaper
