A facinating two-night trip into war torn, but recovering Sarajevo from Metkovic, Croatia. We chose to do this on our own by renting an apartment in Metkovic near the bus station, and taking the bus to an apartment near the bus station there. No special visas needed, but the border crossing back was an ordeal. The guy we rented the apartment from had been shot 9 times during the war.
