What an honor it was to take part in our #giveachildabook giveaway for the 5th year! Today we handed out more than 400 Scripps Howard Foundation book bags with a book, a treat and other goodies inside! This was all made possible by generous donations from our employees here at 23ABC, the Scripps Howard Foundation, the Kern Literacy Council and Scholastic along with J&M balloons and chips from Frito Lay! Tune in for 23ABC at 6 to see the joy on the kids’ faces as they took home their very own book!
