Navy Seals Demonstration at the USS Intrepid

Special Edition witnessed the Navy SEAL's impressive demonstration of their Combat Raid's at the foot of the Aircraft U.S.S. Intrepid in New York City.

Those in attendance got a comprehensive overview of many of the SEAL's special skills. One of the highlights on this day was the extraction of eight SEAL's via a rope dangling from a helicopter.

On hand to explain the Navy SEAL's skills and operations were SEAL's Pat Farrell, Commander Lou Bremer, P.R. Arquello, Communication Specialist Dan Licardo and Howard Reed.

Special Edition also spoke to three WWII Veterans that served on the U.S.S. Intrepid. and were there to support the SEAL's. They also shared their experiences and memories while serving on the Aircraft. Hector Giannasca, Frank Doria and Joe Liotta.
