Freedom from fear - How to stop fear and insecurity

Today we’re learning how to achieve total freedom from fear, so that we can live the blessed and successful lives God intended us to!

As Christians, we need to understand how God set everything up, and of course, the Bible teaches us this. We need to know what is healthy and what is unhealthy (sin) and how to conquer all sin and surrender all areas of our lives to Jesus. Freedom from fear is a Promise that Jesus makes us: He tells us that when we abide in His Word, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free.

Growing up, I didn’t know anything true about God, and I was told not to read the Bible. I ended up rejecting God, and in a moment of total despair and isolation, I cried out to God, “Help me!” I finally started learning about God, studying the Bible, only to find out I’d been trying to do God’s Part all my life, and praying for Him to do what He’s commanded us to do. No wonder my prayers weren’t answered!

The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, and power, and a sound mind. Meaning – chronic fear is a sin that’s separating us from God. When I started doing what Jesus teaches us, I became closer and closer to God, He opened my eyes to the Truth, and He gifted me total freedom from fear – something I didn’t even realize was possible! We can all count on Jesus’ Promises – if He set me free, He will set you free!
