Coffee at Ladies Well, Barrington Tops, Easy Overlanding

Ladies Well is an easy overlanding journey for most AWD SUV's, where visitors can enjoy the cool waters of the Allyn River surrounded by granite boulders and lush forest. The drive takes you through beautiful scenery but the final 10km can very bumpy but still passable if you simply slow down and take your time. In wet weather there are sections that can get quite muddy so be careful and invest in some traction boards if you're not set up for muddy conditions. Many visitors actually go there in their front wheel drive sedans and, in dry conditions arrive like 007's martini, shaken but not stirred.

Located within the eastern portion of Chichester State Forest on the Allyn River, in the foothills of the Barrington Tops, Ladies Well is a popular swimming hole - especially in the warmer months - featuring cascades and sun-warmed rocks.
