EP 126 Unanswered Covid Questions
Logical Questions Pro-Lockdown Enthusiasts Can’t Answer:
If every choice in life has a consequence, what are the consequences of the measures being taken (lockdown)?
Why don’t we have standards for “face coverings” if they are our “best defense”?
Is every piece of fabric covering the face just as effective as medical-grade masks?
When should you wash a face covering? Wouldn’t it build up viral particles if we’re using them to stop the spread of viral particles?
Why can I wear a face shield if all that does is redirect my potentially deadly breath and doesn’t filter or stop it?
How long does the breath that escapes out of the mask unfiltered (30% for medical-grade masks) stay in the air? If someone walks right into the same spot I was standing wouldn’t they breathe the same air that escaped the ‘face-covering’?
If the approach we’ve been using for 10+ months (“masks”, distancing, wash hands) works so well why are all the numbers going up?
After 10+ months why is the approach to the virus more of the same? Aren’t most people complying with the guidelines?
If different states are using less stringent guidelines, like Florida, why aren’t they having a much harder time than California or New York? Florida has a huge elderly population, right?
For that matter, if many states are handling lockdowns differently why are case numbers rising at the same time as every other state?
Why did the Flu disappear since Covid?
Why are people who stood in line for Covid testing but left the line before actually taking the test, still getting positive results?
If there are other communicable diseases like the Flu that kill thousands or hundreds of thousands of people every year why didn’t we all wear a ‘face-covering’ or quarantine ourselves to protect the vulnerable decades ago?
Why did the first Sars-Coronavirus go away without vaccines?
Is there herd immunity to the first Sars-Coronavirus? Didn’t the WHO recently redefine herd immunity as something you can only achieve with a vaccine? So, why don’t we need a vaccine for the first Sars-coronavirus?
If there are already 2 “new strains” in under a year what is the point of taking a Covid vaccine developed for the first strain? At this rate, wouldn’t the formula need to change every 6 months?
If only essential jobs are essential, then why are movies and TV shows on the list of essential businesses? Are films more important than small business owners being able to feed their families?
If the WHO said they are against Lockdown measures because they cause more harm than good, why aren’t we listening to them anymore (they call for a ‘focused approach’)?
Why did the inventor of the PCR test say not to use the test to diagnose disease because it cannot distinguish active viral particles from dead/inactive viral particles, but we’re using it to decide policy and causing deaths related to despair to skyrocket in every possible way? (Lockdowns are at least 10 times deadlier than Covid since zero income causes an inability to pay for food, water, and shelter, the basic needs of life).
