20210120 Sedition and Insurrection - The Daily Summation

I can't speak for various law enforcement agencies, but in my view, nothing that happened in the nation's capitol in the past couple of weeks, was anything like sedition or insurrection.

If I can't say that about things that Antifa and BLM did over the summer (and even where damage and harm occurred, I would have a very hard time making that case), the only difference I see (other than that the Capitol protests were a great deal more peaceful), would be that the protests were in the Capitol.

That's not some sort of rare thing.

Is it possible a very limited number of folks (not sure right or left, and don't much care) could be charged with either sedition or insurrection? Yes, but it's not highly likely that'll happen.

Can I imagine Mr Trump or anyone working for him being considered guilty of either? Not from any evidence I'm aware of.
