The Creative Power Within You

The Bible says that God created us in his image. If God is the Creator, then he created us with a power to create. This creative power is what sets man apart from the animal kingdom. My experience with emotional healing suggests that we are creating our experience of life from within. It is not being imposed on us from the outside. We do this by invoking the creative power of the verb TO BE in the form of statements like, "I am...", "You are..." and "He or She is...." God told Moses that his name was "I AM," so we should be careful about what we put after the words, "I am..." because we are literally bringing this into being in our lives. Part of emotional healing work is helping a person to change these inner statements through a process called question affirmations, which we'll discuss this in this lesson.
