Crisis and trauma, as well as political/societal pressure, will increase the potential in making self-destructive decisions that will negatively impact personal health, family relationships, service to others, and employers. Resilience courses are largely based on a secular psychological approach. Persevering Through Toxicity is a course that incorporates faith-based research in a secular approach to increase awareness in one’s personal identity/self-assessment, consider a rhythm of life, prioritize rest, and preparing for seasons of stagnation called The Wall. Increasing resilience is based on implementing intentional daily actions to improve spiritual, physical, and psychological well-being.
