Charles "Wigg" Walker was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 12, 1940, He recorded his first single, Slave To Love, on the Champion label in 1959.

He released this album, Number By Heart, on the UK based Zane Records label in 2003. This is a really good album but it had limited commercial success and, as far as I can tell, has been deleted from the catalogs and is currently unavailable.
