Insta360 One X2 Test on a 2020 BMW S1000RR

After having problems with the original Insta360 One X due to vibration sensitivity, I decided to try the new X2.

The X2 is mounted on the RAM ball mount on my steering column, so it has a good view of the TFT console, front view through the windshield, rider body and head, side view, and everything in between.

I prefer the horizon leveling its flowstate stabilization does relative to what you get from a GoPro mounted in the same position, which keeps the foreground level and rotates the background. I find that a level horizon gives a better sense for lean.

It also (mostly) removes the engine vibration I get in other cameras, including the previous One X, though I purposely limit power/speed here by keeping down my revs via using 3rd gear almost exclusively. The RR just has too much power for a technical public road when you drop into 2nd, let alone 1st, where the speeds instantly become totally insane.

Besides the battery, I have it USB-powered from an dual-USB outlet I placed on the triple-clamp. This enables me to run it continuously without fearing running out of battery, especially with my 256gb SD card. Unfortunately Insta360 put the X2's USB connector too near the lenses and perpendicular to its length, so a right-angle USB cable will show up on the edge of the stitch frame.

I own the (previous) One X and I find the X2 to be way better. My One X kept crashing due to its vibration sensitivity, but the X2 appears far better here so far. Tell me what you think in the comments.
