Marvel's Wandavision S01E01 - I sure hope this is going somewhere

Wandavision is the first official MCU TV show appearing on Disney+. 2019's Avengers: Endgame brought to a close ten years of action, adventure and sometimes comedy in superhero movies. By the end of the run all of these movies follow the same basic format and start to run together. Should we expect more of the same in a TV series or should Marvel try to break that formula to give us something new?

Kevin Feige decided different is the way to go, I just hope we're going somewhere. We start the episode in black and white with Wanda and Vision driving around a "typical" 1950's American suburb. They find a house then move in with everything looking like a typical TV show of the time, the Dick Van Dyke show in particular. Then we get what would tropes from the time where Vision works at some company in "computing" and Wanda is the dutiful housewife. Vision's boss is coming for dinner but Wanda thinks it's their anniversary and hilarity ensues.

At the end, after the credits we get a shot of someone watching the TV writing notes on what Vision and Wanda have been up to. The question is, what is this series about? Is it nostalgia for nostalgia's sake or is there some overarching plot? If there is we didn't see much of it in this episode.
