What to do near Rapid City SD | Mt Rushmore | Custer State Park | Lovers Leap Trail | Black Hills NF | Season 1 Episode 3

In this video we share some of the best of what to do near Rapid City, SD. We take you to Custer State Park and the surrounding Black Hills National Forest. We will give tips on visiting Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, and we even did an alpine coaster, rented an UTV to ride through the Black Hills, and enjoyed some great hikes including the Lovers Leap Trail in Custer State Park. We stayed at Heartland RV Park in Hermosa, SD.

We are a family of 4 who loves to travel. In 2019, we bought a 30 ft. travel trailer and decided to make our dreams happen by getting out on the road. We have always LOVED traveling and now seeing our world on the road has given us opportunities to see more and make memories as a family. We are teachers and are blessed to have the same "vacation" schedule, so we make the most of it with our kids by being both weekend warriors and "school schedule" traveling--We call ourselves part-timers. We hope to share what we learn while exploring this beautiful world around us and inspire you to get out and see it, too.
