Chinese New Year in Dandong, Liaoning, China

This is Chinese new year in Dandong, a city on the Yalu river and the only land link between Communist China and the Democratic Peoples Republic Of North Korea. This event starts during the day, accelerates gradually from about 6 PM till 1 AM. This video was shot at an intersection in front of my flat at about 8 PM. 300 meters from the DPRK border.Temperature was about minus 20 degrees C.
