Today's writing and editing tip is about the words "lay" and "lie". These two are one of many mistakes many authors make when writing. Usually due to regional dialects, an author will use what is said in informal speak; but when writing a book, a thesis, or even an article/blog, knowing the difference between using lay or lie goes a long way.
