Can You Wash Glocks – Tactical Firearms Training
I never used to be a big fan of Glock pistols mainly due to the fact I preferred steel framed double/single action guns as that was what I had always used. I started to work more with Glocks due to the fact they are found everywhere these days.

There are a lot of myths about Glocks such as you do not have to clean them and that they do not break etc. Well as far as I know the factory recommends that you don’t clean them for the first 500 rounds so they break in, after that treat them as any other firearm or piece of machinery. As for the myth that they do not break, well over the years we have had plenty of parts brake and need to be replaced, they are bits of machinery and when well used will fail at some point due to wear and tear if nothing else.

These days from a training perspective I find Glocks are far easier and safer to train people with. For one thing you do not have to constantly ensure the students decock their pistol before holstering as you have to with double/single action guns.

Enjoy the video and always ensure you keep your fingers off the triggers and mind you muzzle discipline…
