Trespassing Hike Runyon Canyon Los Angeles 1-13-21

The mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, has put in place draconian and punitive rules against the citizens of his city. He's erected fences blocking off this beautiful hiking trail and forcing people into a more congested main trail which is the antithesis of social distancing. They even posted a city worker at the fence to dissuade people. I simply ignored the sign and the worker and went around the fence to go about my hike and filmed the gorgeous sunset above the city as you will see. as I mentioned, the new district's attorney of Los Angeles, George Gascon, has decriminalized almost every crime and has specifically said he would no longer prosecute trespassing, so this was an easy call for me to make! Recall Garcetti, Gascon, and Newsom! open Los Angeles and open California, enough is enough.
