Based on the numbers we are seeing out of the USDA, Agricultural Commodities are still trading at bargain prices. The fundamentals are worse than 2013/2014 yet the pricing index for most commodities is still very low. As fundamentals become more of a reality in the traders realm, these prices will begin to take off. Coupled with inflation, they are set to rise firmly and fast in 2021.

This posses a problem for consumers while offering some opportunity to Agricultural Producers. The environment for price deflation remains off the radar as we grapple with continued disruptive weather events, food protectionism, carbon banks, and land conservation policies.
