Materials Needed
Crochet hook (recommended for yarn size) used a 10mm in this video
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Yarn (Recommend 5 weight or larger)
used Yarn Bee Sweet Shades in Teal Multi in this video (6 super bulky weight)

LEGEND:
DC =Double Crochet
CH = Chain
FPDC= Front Post Double Crochet
MR= Magic Ring
SC = Single Crochet
SK = Skip
ST = Stitch
SL ST = Slip Stitch
( ) = Notes or stitch count for round
* * = repeat sequence

WORKING IN THE ROUND

ROUND 1:
Make a MR, or tie onto hook,
CH 3 (counts as DC here and throughout pattern), 11 DC in MR or first CH.
Join with SL ST in 3rd CH of initial CH 3. (will only be referred to as JOIN) (12 DC)

ROUND 2: CH 3, 2 Double crochet 11 times, DC in same ST as CH, JOIN. (24 DC)

ROUND 3: CH 3, *DC in next ST, 2 DC in next ST,* Repeat 11 times, DC in next ST, DC in same stitch as CH, JOIN. (36 DC)

ROUND 4: CH 3, * DC in next 2 ST, 2 DC in next ST, * Repeat 11 times, DC in next 2 ST, DC in same ST as CH, JOIN. (48 DC)

ROUND 5: CH 3, * DC in next 3 ST, 2 DC in next ST, * Repeat 11 times, Dc in next 3 ST, Dc in same ST as CH, JOIN. (60 DC)

KEEP INCREASING ROWS IF YOU WANT A LARGER BASE FOR YOUR BASKET. NEXT STEP IS TO START BUILDING SIDES.

ROUND 6: CH 2, FPDC around. JOIN (60 FPDC)

ROUND 7- Desired Height: CH 3, DC Around, JOIN (60 DC)

ROUND 8 IF YOU WANT HANDLES: CH 8, SK 5 ST, DC in next 25 ST, CH 5, SK 5 ST, DC in next 24 ST, JOIN. (2 CH 5 Spaces, 50 DC)

ROUND 9 or finishing ROUND: CH 1, SC in each ST around, JOIN. (60 SC)
