Apologizing - How to stop shame and condemnation

Words are always so important, even when our primary love language isn't words of affirmation. And when we've done something wrong, an apology can make the difference between a ruined relationship or a renewed one.

Apologizing, just like forgiveness, is an emotional skill we can learn. It's not a "talent" some people were born with - and by apologizing, in a healthy manner and in a healthy situation, we can bring healing to ourselves, the person we've wronged, and our relationship!

As we progress in this series, we're not only learning these skills, but we're learning and practicing to make our decisions independently from others. We're choosing, more and more, to do the right thing - the healthy thing, and lead by example!!

And in the next video, we'll be talking specifically about the 5 apology languages, and Dr. Chapman's and Dr. Thomas' book, When sorry isn't enough - I can't wait!!
