This past year 2020, we were hit with a pandemic that changed all our lives.
I wanted to speak to you all about the real estate industry and what has happened since the pandemic and where I see the industry going in the future.
When the pandemic first hit we all assumed that the market would come to a slow down and that homes would not be selling.
It turned out that since we in New Jersey are so close to those in NYC, we saw a boom in the amount of buyers that wanted to move to our state.
Homes being listed still slowed down, but homes were flying off the market as soon as they were listed.
We would have multiple offer and most of the time above ask offers on the properties because people wanted out of their current circumstances in NYC.
We also saw interest rates drop very quickly which also enticed more millennials to join the house hunting process.
The final aspect of 2020 that is amazing is how many properties where sold through virtual tours & facetime with your clients.
This has shown a light on why digital marketing is super effective and now more important than ever!
If you are looking to sell your home in 2021, use an agent who knows how social media and the digital world work, to get your home seen by tons of buyers in your market, and sell it as quickly as possible!
