Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency shooting feral hogs from helicopter

Recorded this after being wakened by the gunfire. After realizing it was coming from a helicopter, I grabbed my Nikon P900 and began recording. Helicopter was a bit over 1 mile away when shooting.
Not knowing who the helicopter belonged to, I contacted my local sheriff's office, who confirmed it was TWRA thinning out the feral hog population. On some of my stills I was able to read the N-number and looked up the registration info and flight tracker info. It is registered to the USDA.
I was quite surprised to learn it is legal shoot firearms from an aircraft - at least if you work for .gov!
