There Are Always Two Sides

The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.
Proverbs 18:17

It's easy to believe the first thing we hear about a topic, especially when it comes from a source we believe to be authoritative, like a pastor, professor, or media outlet, but it's almost always better to wait until you hear every side of a story before deciding what is true. Be especially wary of people who try to prevent you from hearing the other side.
