Apple Computer 1984 Superbowl Commercial

On January 22, 1984, Apple Computer presented this Superbowl commercial, advertising its stance for liberty and free speech in this remarkable, groundbreaking commercial. In that day, with Steve Jobs at the helm, the company likened IBM and the up-and-coming Microsoft to George Orwell's 1984 "Big Brother" character. On January 9, 2021, Apple removed the free speech app Parler from its App Store, itself becoming Big Brother along with similar authoritarian actions by the Google Play store and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
