Ulmus minor Propagation Tree (Villanova sull'Arda Piacenza Italia) EN

For restoration of a degraded land (Campo Santo Vecchio Borgotrebbia Piacenza), seeds of Olmo di Villanova sull'Arda were used. In nursery of Ecosistemi laboratory the seeds were germiated or recostituted soils made for reforestation purpose. The collection and propagation of the Olmo seeds were carried out to preserve the genetic biodiversity and to ensure the continuity of a history simbol of our territory.
