As with many birds of prey, falcons have an exceptional ability to see. The visual acuity of one of the species was measured and found to be 2.6 times that of a normal person. Peregrine falcons were also seen dashing on prey at 200 mph (320 km / h), making them the fastest-moving creatures on Earth. The fastest landfall on record for a falcon was 390 kilometers per hour (240 mph).
