This is a recording of a small part of the US Congressional Meeting back in April 29th, 2015.

Dr. Matt Blaze speaks on the infeasibility of cryptographic backdoors for the “good” guys only.

A big argument for regulating encryption is so that then the government can catch the bad guys. Dr. Blaze goes on to give reasons why mass regulating/weakening of encryption would do more harm than good. Dr. Blaze states that weakening encryption would only weaken the average person's security, privacy, and anonymity online while criminals profit from it.

I do not own the rights of this speech/video, however I am uploading it for educational purposes.
