Dreams Crushed - IVF Journey

Hello guys! Thank you for tuning in! We have recently started our IVF journey! We have been on our TTC journey for about 3 years now. We got pregnant with our first baby naturally 15 months into trying, but we had an unfortunate missed miscarriage at 16 weeks in October 2019.

After our loss, we thought we would be able to get pregnant again because we thought I got pregnant the first time because I had changed my diet shortly before. During that time we also tried two cycles of clomid, one with a trigger shot and ultrasound surveillance. Unfortunately we have not yet gotten pregnant again aside from a possible chemical pregnancy this year.

I’ve been diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS.

In hopes of getting pregnant I underwent endometriosis excision surgery. They removed a large cyst and took about 40% of my left ovary with it. They also confirmed that I have PCOS because I had 40+ cysts. I have nearly fully recovered from the surgery but have not yet gotten pregnant.

I had started the IVF process with a low cost clinic in UT, but as described in this video, that isn't going to work out. So that brings us up to date! Follow along to see our full IVF journey!
