Are Covid Lockdowns Moral?

Since the very beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to deal with lockdowns - the most life-changing measurement to prevent the spread of the disease.
How effective they are is an important topic on its own. But a similarly important question is: are these lockdowns moral?
