When Senators Object Electors Sent By States, What Will Happen?

Slates of electors are subject to objection by Members of Congress on January 6. Objections must be submitted in writing by legislators with signatures from both a member of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Once the objections are turned in, both chambers of Congress will separate to debate each slate objection. We predict this process will lead to a very long day in Congress.
