A replica of an emancipation statue in Boston has been taken down in the name of progress. This story of this statue tells the bettering of society that has happened in forming a more perfect union. People are attempting to erase history to get rid of the parts that make them uncomfortable and that does an incredible disservice to the work that has been done.
