There once was a cat named Zoe, who found herself in a shelter on the island of Tasmania, Australia. She knew it wasn't the place for her, and needed a way out of the cage that trapped her and limited her natural prowess.

One day, she found the perfect victims, a family of four who were looking to add to their family a furred friend that would bring extra love and affection.

Zoe knew from her previous experience that these creatures only freed the prisoners who demeaned themselves by rolling into their backs, and even rubbing up against these furless two leggers.

Much to her disgust, she gave the biggest performance of her life. She let her eyelids drop, and purred at the top of her lungs. She even rolled into her back with her paws adorably curled. She was the purrfect example of the loving feline, and the family squealed in delight, taking her to their humble abode.

Alas, little did they know that Zoe was a vengeful queen, and the charade at the shelter was purely for show.

The first time it happened, the queen was curled up asleep, in a unfortunate position next to the derriere of the eldest child. She was awoken from her slumber by an almighty rumble which was followed by a smell even worse than the tray the two leggers forced her to use to relieve herself.

She shook her head in absolute disgust, staring at the child with her mouth agape at the nerve of this monster to wake her in this manner. She looked around to see if it would get punished for this despicable act, but to her absolute dismay, the other two leggers were laughing… laughing!

She was so angry, and left the room as she simply could not deal with their derision.

After she left the room, she stewed for hours. Oh did she stew. She thought about it for so long, that the rage inside of her built up until her eyes became the portals to Hell itself. Her mouth dropped open, showing two fearsome tiny needles.

A queen possessed, she slowly stalked towards the eldest child, her face contorted into that of a furry demon. The child saw her face and instantly backed away, this was a feline bent on revenge.

Zoe built up speed towards the child. The child froze in fear, she should have run but her legs would not obey her mind!

Zoe ran at full speed now, so intent on vengeance. She finally reached the child, and… patted her forcefully with a clawless paw. That would teach her!

Hence began the queens life with the family, and continuous punishment whenever she was laughed at.

TLDR: Adopted cat didn't like getting laughed at, face turned into the devil, stalked the perpetrator and whacked them.
