Most monkeys live in trees, but some live in savannah or mountainous regions. Monkey tribes remain on the move to find food, so one location is not home for very long.

Monkeys are very social creatures. Groups of monkeys are called missions, tribes, troops, or portable vehicles. Troops will work together to take care of the little monkeys in the group. They also love to play, cuddle and protect each other.

The strongest and largest male monkey is the leader of the group. In monkey-sex groups that practice polygamy, the leader will mate with multiple females.
