WHO expert warns, trust in Covid vaccines vital to stopping pandemic

Director of the World Health Organisation’s immunisation department, Kate O’Brien has said, ‘ A vaccine that sits in a freezer or in a refrigerator or on a shelf and doesn't get used is doing nothing to help shorten this pandemic’. Brien stated that as the world celebrated advances in vaccines against Covid-19, public distrust in these treatments could render them useless against the pandemic.
