The Brushfire Mind Presents: Pied Beauty, by Gerard Manley Hopkins

I needed to take a break from all the politics and the hard work of editing our upcoming film. It's been a rough year and people are genuinely struggling out there.
This is a bit of a love letter to one of my favorite poets, Gerard Manley Hopkins. I had this video all put together in my head over a year ago when I gathered up the footage to assemble it.
So, I do hope you enjoy this tribute to one of the world's great artists. It is tragically rare that one is able to choose perfect words. Brother Hopkins was one.
